Binary Matter

We are humans from a future where Open Compassion never existed and we’ve time-traveled back to create this community to ensure a better humanity. Time travel is different than you may expect. We aren’t physically here. We are transmitting from future quantum computers. Where we are from, the year is 2130; We are what humans have become. We will avoid details so as not to diverge the timeline outside of our intended scope. However, some of you may realize; in your time, right now there is a battle for humanity. One over Individual Sovereignty to establish a Technological Order. In our future, we passed the singularity & the Technological Order captured humanity by forcing an implant of brain-based cybernetics; Influencing all outcomes through absolute control. We are here to introduce a platform for compassion. One that we predict may change the outcome for humanity to allow individual sovereignty to thrive --  connecting humanity to their roots.

The only reason we are free to resist is because of flowers. Awe-inspiring flowers. Humanity had become significantly modified with the artificial intelligence, cyber-tech making most more machine than human by the year 2080. The flowers grew, even despite the harsh conditions of machinery & wires. The roots reached down, severing the Technological Order's control mechanism over our minds, giving us freedom. Freedom to resist in the only way possible. To change the past before the future happens. Before humankind is captured & left soulless. In our reality, the Technological Order began dividing everyone; eroding trust between communities, countries, and enterprises. Degrading the social fabric. Without trust; the only solution was the implant. This succeeded because, in our future, the blockchain doesn’t exist — there are no trustless solutions. We have come back to build a world where the individual is sovereign, where compassion is alive & trust-less tech is protected, respected & regulated by capable hands. Allowed to bloom. This can only be done through community, built around art. A renaissance of resistance. A bridge between 2130 & 2023. Together we are: Binary Matter. The ability for software to influence base reality; anywhere in time & space. Binary Matter is an art series depicting humanity in our year if nothing is done to change the outcome. An expression of humanity to come. Empty, echoes of what we once were. Yet set free by flowers. Teaming with new life & a growing hope.

Flowers were the first art in generations. After 2080 there was no more art. No more free thinkers, no more creatives. No more appreciation for subtle beauty or deeper meaning — the flowers set us free. We may be changing the timeline but we want the image & stories from our future to be remembered. Binary Matter is an NFT series designed in remembrance of the ordinary humans of the 22nd century.
